Today, we are busy posting a photo on Instagram or sharing a meme on Facebook thinking everything is great. Yes, it might be good. But how can it be right if you stop others from asking a question? How do you know things are going right for them? How is asking a question harming you? Mind your own business.
The idea behind democracy is to give everyone a voice. It is not to put your ideas and ideology on others. Nobody in this world is GOD (if he exists). You are responsible for your brain and life. So start living your life. If you see someone asking a question, don’t comment! First, think why is the person asking that question. Social media (Read: Jio, cheap smartphones) has brought everyone (everyone!!) closer in the virtual life. It doesn’t mean that you know everything about the person.
We are stuck in a reality which is a mere bubble. Our reality can never be the actual reality of everyone! So think before you force your ideas on someone else.
There is a thin line between advice and command!! Respect it. Implement what your mother taught you.
Questioning happens when someone wants you to grow and be better! The day you stop questioning or made to stop, means that you are asked to compromise with the state of affairs. Personally, my parents didn’t raise me like that. I was raised on questions on how better I can become. Remember, teacher writing on your mark sheet – “can do better”? It was to motivate you to become a better person.
Same is for the country which has democracy!!
